Due to “Abenomics” and Tokyo’s successful bid to host the Olympic Games in 2020, investors from all over the world have shown increased interest in the Japanese real estate market in recent times. However, there are a lot of obstacles that stand in the way of foreign investors from investing in Japanese property. For example, foreign investors face a dearth of reliable information about the Japanese real estate market as there are very few sources of information that are available in English. In addition, most foreign investors also face difficulties finding a suitable agent to help them invest in Japanese real estate.
