We have developed a cloud based data visualization and analytics platform for the industrial sector with a specific focus on production operations staff. We are active in the manufacturing fields encompassing Mining, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Refining, Dairy, etc. This sector has typically been highly engineer focused, rather than operators focused. (Hint: Operators are the ones actually making the money) Over the past few years the industry has started a shift towards a focusing on the improvement the operations staff performance. This is due to a reducing of available labor, higher labor cost and profit margin reductions. Based on our customer feedback the existing solutions in this space have a large number of issues: - Designed in the late 90s or early 2000s as such they are heavily focused on engineers or data analysts - Very high maintenance (Upgrades, backup, archiving, etc) - High upfront cost - Difficult to share data with suppliers We are solving these issues
